If you need a classic cardboard folder , we will choose the format (A4, A5 or special formats), the required spine width, the type of mechanism (lever arch file with or without slotted cover, round or D-shape rings) the filing capacity and the number of rings.

Depending on the use of your customized cardboard folder , you will choose a portrait or landscape format, a box folder or even a cardboard file box , which can be set up as a flipchart.

Digital, offset or screen printing are possible – depending on your layout and your print run. If you want something really special, creative paper can also be used to create a linen look, a leather look or lots of other imitations. Further effects can then be added such as embossing or debossing.

Your offset printing can be protected either by matt or gloss foil (also scratch-resistant) or by a fine linen lamination. With a matt foil you can also create further effects by applying a partial gloss coating.

If you insert many documents into your printed cardboard folder, it might be useful to add dividers to make orientation easier for the user. Design Duval provides cardboard, PVC or polypropylene indexes – so you have everything you need from a single supplier.

Other elements are often integrated in a custom folder or in a folder box : samples or specimens, business cards, a USB flash drive, a pen, etc. It may thus be necessary to include business card pockets, triangular pockets, pouches with gussets, pen holders or a clipboard. Design Duval can also easily take care of this, because we process PVC as well and can produce transparent pockets of any kind. Triangular pockets or pouches can of course also be made of cardboard.

Add metal corners, laminated magnets for the file box or flipchart, and perhaps a grip hole with a metal ring for a special touch. And if it’s heavy, a carry handle can be fitted to your cardboard file box.
